 English below ---------- 7000 Menschen im Hungerstreik Wir solidarisieren uns mit Leyla Güvens Widerstand gegen jeglichen Rassismus, jegliche Diskriminierung und Unterdrückung und gegen das Patriarchat. Leyla Güven wurde ins Gefängnis gesteckt weil sie den Überfall der Türkei auf die Region Afrin kritisiert hat. Am 7. November 2018 erklärte sie in ihrer Gerichtsverhandlung, dass sie - anstatt weiter an diesem Prozess teilzunehmen - ab sofort in einen unbefristeten Hungerstreik tritt. Für die Aufhebung der Totalisolation, die seit April 2015 über Abdullah Öcalan verhängt ist. Warum? Weil Abdullah Öcalan bis April 2015 einen Friedensprozess auf den Weg gebracht hat und eine große Hoffnung für weite Teile der Bevölkerung bedeutete. In den Gefängnissen, bleiben den politischen Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten nur wenige Möglichkeiten. November - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women The Alliance of internationalist feminists Berlin is not silent. Along with women worldwide, we organize to end violence inflicted on women; we protest and we strike. We witness the destruction of our lives and our world by the forces of patriarchy, capitalism and racism. We raise our voice and we resist! Violence against women is a system. It’s everywhere: at home, on the streets, at the workplace, in state institutions. It has always been a tool to keep women under control. To shut their mouths, to show them their place, to make an example of what happens to women who resist or simply don’t “behave.” We will not behave!
